Kristal Lynn Konzen was born and raised in Southern California and has embraced the thriving country line dance community throughout California, Montana, Texas, and Tennessee.  Along with looking for new dances to learn and bring back to her students as well as connecting with new dance friends to enhance her dance experience and technique. Kristal Lynn's dance roots stem in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance - she has been seriously training and competing since she was three and she started teaching dance at the studio at age 16.

In 2008, she made semi-finals for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and during her trip to Dallas, fell in love with country two step and line dancing. Upon returning to her hometown of Thousand Oaks, she studied, took classes, and honed her dance skills to specialize in country dance.  After several years of country nights and various events, she gained a coveted teaching spot at her favorite local country bar Borderline Bar and Grill in 2013 and became the resident College Night Dance Instructor.

Kristal Lynn is the resident Dance Instructor and DJ for Borderline Country Nights at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills and Tarantula Hill in Thousand Oaks and also taught and DJ'd at the BL Dancehall and Saloon before it closed in March 2023. She has been the Borderline Dance Team Director since its formation in 2017.

One of Kristal's most notable experiences was teaching at the nationally known Stagecoach Country Music Festival from 2017-2019  and recently in 2024. In 2020 she was asked to be the Dance Instructor for the first "Stagecouch", performing and teaching on the Stagecoach social media's live broadcast.  She also has hosted and led Thousand Oaks' local Conejo Valley Days Western Night since 2016, including hosting and teaching line dance lessons. She also teaches yearly at the Taste of Camarillo Wine Festival every July.

Kristal Lynn enjoys dancing and DJing in her local community and also contributes her services to charities several times a year.

Her choreography and line dances are taught in California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, and Richmond. Most recently her line dance "I Got This (Can't Miss)" was reposted and advertised by country music star Jerrod Niemann and has been taught in several states across the country. 

Dancing is her passion, and her dreams are to continue to bring her love of dance and choreography to as many people as possible, making friends and creating new experiences along the way. Whether you learn a new dance step, a new line dance, or just leave class with a smile on your face, these memories make her job fulfilling.
